Itinerary

Day 01 :
Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

Accommodation: Ashnil Samburu Camp
Meal Plan: Lunch & Dinner (LD)
Depart Nairobi after an early morning pick-up from your hotel or residence at 07:00 AM. Drive north across the equator into the Northern Hemisphere, making a brief stop at the Equator line before continuing to the semi-arid landscapes of Samburu National Reserve. Arrive at Ashnil Samburu Camp in time for lunch. Enjoy some leisure time with a swim or siesta before heading out on your first game drive at 16:00hrs across the reserve, known for its striking terrain and rare wildlife species. Return to the camp before sunset.

Day 02 :
Samburu National Reserve (Full Day Safari)

Accommodation: Ashnil Samburu Camp
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner (BLD)
Spend a full day exploring the unique ecosystem of Samburu. Set out for morning and afternoon game drives in search of the Big Five and the rare "Samburu Five": the long-necked gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, beisa oryx, and Somali ostrich. Watch crocodiles sunbathe along the Ewaso Nyiro River and velvet monkeys play in the afternoon light. Optionally, visit a Samburu village to gain insight into the local culture and traditions. Return to camp for overnight.

Day 03 :
Samburu to Nairobi (End of Tour)

Meal Plan: Breakfast only (B)
Enjoy an optional early morning game drive before returning to the camp for breakfast. Afterward, check out and drive back to Nairobi. Arrive in the early afternoon and transfer to your residence, hotel, or onward flight connection.
