Pick up from your hotel or residence in Nairobi at 07:00 am and depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve via the Great Rift Valley. This scenic drive takes approximately 5½ hours. Arrive in time for a hot lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge. After lunch, enjoy a short rest, then head out for an exciting afternoon game drive in the vast plains of the Mara in search of the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Today is a full day of wildlife exploration in Kenya’s most iconic game reserve. After an early morning game drive, return for breakfast. You may choose to go on another mid-morning drive or relax at the lodge. After lunch, head out for a late afternoon game drive or opt for a full-day excursion with packed picnic lunch to explore deeper into the reserve. You also have the option to visit a local Maasai village (US$30 per person) to experience their rich culture. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy one last early morning game drive in the Mara before returning to the lodge for breakfast. Afterward, check out and begin your journey back to Nairobi, arriving at approximately 1:00 pm. Drop off at your hotel, residence, or transfer to the airport for your flight home. Approx transit time: 5½ hrs.
