Loisaba Star Beds is one of Kenya’s most unique safari experiences, offering guests the chance to sleep under a blanket of stars in the wild landscapes of Laikipia. Located within the Loisaba Conservancy, this small and intimate camp is perched on a kopje (rocky hill) with sweeping views over the valleys and distant horizons.

The star beds themselves are handcrafted four-poster beds mounted on wheeled platforms. At night, the beds are rolled out onto elevated wooden decks so guests can fall asleep under the vast African sky, listening to the sounds of the bush. Each star bed comes with cozy bedding, mosquito nets, and the comfort of an en-suite bathroom nearby.

The camp is small and exclusive, with only a few star bed platforms, ensuring a highly personal and private experience. Meals are freshly prepared and enjoyed in a central dining area overlooking the dramatic landscape, with the option of private bush breakfasts and sundowners.

Days are filled with safari adventures in Loisaba Conservancy, a 57,000-acre wilderness teeming with elephants, lions, leopards, wild dogs, and over 250 species of birds. Activities include game drives, guided walking safaris, camel treks, horseback riding, and cultural visits with the Samburu people.
